DJI introduces the stabilizer Osmo Mobile 6 for smartphones – it has become more ergonomic and tracks movements better

Modern smartphones do a good job of stabilizing video, but are still far from the capabilities of gimbal stabilizers. Another novelty of this kind – Osmo Mobile 6 – was presented by DJI. Capture smooth video with this compact, foldable smartphone gimbal. It can automatically track subjects, has smartphone camera controls, and folds out for better selfies.

Compared to its predecessor, the Osmo Mobile 6 features a new ergonomic grip, an improved clip that allows you to secure large smartphones even in a case, and an improved built-in status bar for checking battery level and gimbal mode. The side wheel for zooming in or out and switching from automatic to manual focus control has also been improved.

There are no new features in the Mimo app itself, but its motion tracking capabilities have been improved – it’s become more stable when shooting at long ranges. Now you can track objects that twist or turn sideways.

The DJI Osmo Mobile 6 Stabilizer is available for $159. The package includes gimbal, magnetic clamp, tripod, power cord and storage case.
