DICE has promised to fix a bug that has been immortalizing Star Wars Battlefront II players for the past few months.

DICE Community Manager Kevin Johnson on Reddit commented the problem of player immortality in Star Wars Battlefront II, which has been spreading in recent months.

In October 2021 gamers started complainingthat characters in the lobby become invulnerable. Health cannot drop below one, making heroes essentially immortal and the game pointless.

In December, the scale of the problem reportedly became so widespread that many players found Star Wars Battlefront II unplayable. The situation is observed exclusively on the PC.

How it transfers IGN, Electronic Arts and DICE officials’ comments about what happened up until recently amounted to the matter being investigated, but the matter did not go further.

According to Johnson, the resolution process of the issue has slowed down due to the holidays: “However, movement towards a fix continues, the bug will be fixed and we will let you know when that happens.”.

What caused the problem is not known for certain. Some Star Wars Battlefront II users say that the bug appeared a few years ago, but many blame it for the current situation hacker.

Star Wars Battlefront II is available for PC (Steam, Epic Games Store, Origin), PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The game was released in November 2017 and in April 2020 the developers announced the end of active support.
