Remember that the release gameplay trailer for Diablo IV, which debuted last week, was mostly remembered for its strange musical score – demon fights were demonstrated to the tune of Billie Eilish’s song.

The new Diablo IV video is positioned as a release story trailer and lasts just under two minutes. The video is dedicated to the war of angels and demons, as well as the story of the suffering mother Lilith (the main antagonist of the game).

In the trailer, Sanctuary’s demon creator proclaims the intention of the infernal rulers to devour the world and lure people into immoral acts. “Hell Is Near”warns the off-commentary.

At the end of the video, a battle unfolds between the forces of angels and demons, not for life but for death. The infernal army is commanded by Lilith, and Inarius and his right hand, Rights, are at the forefront of the cardinal direction.

This time, too, the audience paid attention to the background music. The trailer features American singer Halsey’s song “Nightmare,” which fans may remember performing the Diablo IV track at the 2022 Game Awards.

Diablo IV will be released on June 6th on PC (Battle.net), PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S, but unlocks for Premium buyers on June 2nd. Blizzard believes those that pass the tests will help ensure a stable launch of the game.
