Diablo IV found a loophole that allows moving the main character to the seasonal world – players are already afraid of Blizzard’s reaction

In the seasonal world of Diablo IV, you can’t use your main character from the world of eternity, but a bug found by users of the fantasy role-playing action game allows you to do just that. Fans are already predicting how Blizzard’s blocks will be distributed.

To activate the bug, you need to meet up with a friend (or a random person) in the seasonal world, briefly disconnect from the internet, and then return to the seasonal world with your “eternal” character.

The error leads to obvious balance problems. A character from the eternal realm brings all of their gear and inventory, can receive an experience bonus from the blessings of the season, transfer aspects and items to their seasonal “colleague”, and so on.

Keep in mind that some players were unhappy with Blizzard’s request to create a new character for the season, so this bug may well become popular.

In the comments below the video blogger Glitch Unlimited, which describes how the bug works, users expressed concerns that using the described problem could lead to an account suspension from Blizzard:

  • “Sounds like a loophole that Blizzard will bang over people with their ban hammer”predicts jeremysmith9319;
  • “It almost certainly happened to me, but not on purpose; I can’t remember which elements were mixed. I will most likely get banned even if it was a mistake.”is afraid of nameundefined4317;
  • “It’s definitely a 100 percent permanent ban, folks.”warns beatrageGameSalad;
  • “Speedrun to get an account ban, I’m watching”added ThanatosTheDH.

portal IGN I have reached out to Blizzard for comment on potential bans. The day before the company introduced a list of changes that will bring a major patch 1.1.1 – the update will be released on August 8th.

Diablo IV is available on PC (Battle.net), PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series
