Diablo III will soon be 10 years old – the viewership of the game has exceeded 65 million

Publisher and developer Blizzard Entertainment celebrates the upcoming 10th anniversary of their action role-playing game Diablo III reported on the game’s success in terms of reach and shared how he would celebrate the anniversary.

Recall that in the first week since the launch of Diablo III more than 6.3 million players were attracted, by the end of 2012 this number had grown to 12 millionand in August 2015, Blizzard announced 30 million sold copies of the project.

As it became known, for almost ten years the total audience of Diablo III exceeded 65 million people, many of them “spent countless hours slaying demons, collecting loot, and having unforgettable adventures”.

As for the celebrations, Diablo III will permanently add the Second Nightmare mode (in which you have to survive under the onslaught of enemies for as long as possible), as well as double the rewards for completing all tasks until the end of Season 26.

Diablo III debuted on PC on May 15, 2012 (Battle.net), followed by PS3 and Xbox 360 in September 2013, PS4 and Xbox One in August 2014, and Nintendo Switch in November 2018. Diablo IV is currently in development.
