Blizzard released new note on his website detailing the exact release dates for patch 2.4 and the release of ranked mode for Diablo II: Resurrected. The update itself will be released on April 14th, and the rating system with the first season will be released on April 28th.
All of these updates should arrive before the end of March, but the developers will have to spend more time setting up the game’s databases and backend.
A two-week hiatus between the release of patch 2.4 and the start of the ranked season will allow the team to monitor the behavior of the Diablo II: Resurrected client and quickly make the necessary changes if needed.
Important features of patch 2.4 are changes in the balance of all character classes, the appearance of new runewords and slightly modified mercenaries. Rating mode offers players (as in the case of the original) four modes: standard, heroic, and full copies of it with the addition of Lord of Destruction.
Diablo II: Resurrected debuted on September 23 this year on PC (Battle.net), PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S, and Nintendo Switch. The game is a remaster of the original Diablo II.
