Square Enix has introduced the card role-playing game Voice of Cards: The Forsaken Maiden. It’s being developed by the same team that launched Voice of Cards: The Isle Dragon Roars last September. But this is not a direct sequel, but a standalone story with other characters.
All the key employees who worked on the previous project were brought in to work on the new one. For example, creative director Yoko Taro, executive producer Yosuke Saito and composer Keiichi Okabe were directly involved in the making of The Forsaken Maiden and before that The Isle Dragon Roars. They were all also involved in the development of the NieR and Drakengard game series.
Voice of Cards: The Forsaken Maiden takes place on an archipelago threatened with destruction. The main character must go on an adventure together with the player and prevent the apocalypse.
Voice of Cards: The Forsaken Maiden will be released on February 17th for PlayStation 4, PC and Nintendo Switch.
