Dell has announced the Latitude 5430 Rugged and Latitude 7330 Rugged Extreme laptops, designed for use in harsh environments – in open spaces, manufacturing, construction sites and more.
New items are built on the eleventh generation Intel Core processor (optionally with vPro support). The equipment includes a touchscreen display, which can be interacted with with gloved hands. The panel’s brightness reaches 1400 nits, making the screen easy to read in sunlight.
The devices are equipped with a Wi-Fi 6E wireless adapter supporting 2.4, 5 and 6 GHz frequency bands. A 5G module can also be installed to connect to fifth generation cellular networks.
With two hot-swappable batteries, battery life is said to reach nearly 25 hours. Express Charge Boost recharges your battery up to 35% in 20 minutes.
The 14 “Latitude 5430 Rugged is IP53 rated. The laptop can withstand drops from heights of up to 0.9 meters. Weight is 1.97 kg.
The Latitude 7330 Rugged Extreme with a 13-inch display is IP65 rated. This device is not afraid of falls from a height of 1.8 meters.
New items will be delivered with the operating system Windows 11. Sales will begin on December 9th.
