Dell launches XPS 15 and XPS 17 laptops with Intel Alder Lake-H

Dell has announced the high-performance XPS 15 9520 and XPS 17 9720 laptops, which come with 15.6-inch and 17-inch screens, respectively. The resolution of the younger version is 3456 × 2160 pixels, that of the older version 1920 × 1200 or 3840 × 2400 pixels.

The laptops are based on the Intel Alder Lake-H hardware platform. The maximum configuration uses a Core i9-12900HK processor with 14 cores – six productive and eight energy efficient. The clock frequency when using Turbo Boost Max 3.0 technology reaches 5.0 GHz.

The younger model can be equipped with a discrete graphics accelerator NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Ti, the older – GeForce RTX 3060. The size of the DDR5-4800 RAM is 16 GB (expandable to 64 GB), the capacity of the NVMe M. 2 solid -State drive is 512 GB (up to 4 TB) .

Laptops feature Killer Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2 wireless adapters, Thunderbolt 4 and USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-C ports, a standard 3.5mm audio jack, and an SD slot.

Windows 11 operating system installs XPS 15 9520 from $1,449, XPS 17 9720 models from $1,849.
