ASUS has introduced the relatively compact S501MD desktop computer, which is suitable for a wide variety of tasks – from daily work to content creation, distance learning and gaming.
The desk is enclosed in a housing measuring 160 × 318.9 × 367.8 mm. In the front part there is an original board with a three-dimensional geometric shape in the form of triangles.
It is based on the Intel Alder Lake hardware platform. The maximum configuration includes a Core i7-12700 with twelve cores with up to 4.9 GHz. Supports up to 64 GB DDR4 RAM.
The system can be equipped with a 2 TB hard drive with a spindle speed of 7200 rpm and a 1 TB M.2 NVMe PCIe 3.0 SSD.
Features include a Gigabit Ethernet network controller, Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) and Bluetooth 5.2 wireless adapter, a 7.1 audio system and an optional optical DVD drive. There are HDMI 1.4, D-Sub, DisplayPort 1.2 interfaces, two PS / 2 sockets, USB 2.0 Type-A and USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports. The Windows 11 operating system is used as the software platform.
