It has been announced that patch 2.02 for Cyberpunk 2077 will be released on PC (Steam, GOG, EGS), PS5, Xbox Series X and S “soon” and will contain some fixes and improvements requested by the community.

Firstly, according to modder rmk1234, the Cyberpunk 2077 developers will fix the passive effects that dropped when acquiring skills after the 2.01 update (or even earlier).

Secondly, the main character no longer dies when entering Delamain’s plane during the “View from Above” quest. This mission leads to one of Cyberpunk 2077’s endings, so a correction is more than welcome.

Other changes in patch 2.02 include:

  • the ability to open the door that blocked the entrance to the Black Sapphire during the Interregnum mission;
  • Fixed a bug that caused the level of implants to be reduced to level 1 after Update 2.01;
  • Balancing timers in courier orders.

The original version of the correction list also contain a point about adding the ability to mark favorite cars in the “Call Car” menu, but by the time the material was published this entry had disappeared.

Cyberpunk 2077 was released in December 2020 and received the Phantom Liberty add-on in September 2023. Sales of the main game exceeded 25 million copies and the expansion was purchased by more than 3 million people in its first week.
