CS: GO changed Dust2, added ballistic shield and short matches

Valve today released a major update for Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, adding a new Operation Riptide to the game. Several maps have received changes, including the popular Dust2.

The famous arena lost its firing position immediately at the spawn point – now players will not be able to accurately shoot through the gate in the middle in the first seconds, making life difficult for the defending side.

Also in the shooter, you can now drop grenades to share with your teammate. A police shield has been added, which you can use to cover yourself and your colleagues. It is available to special forces on maps with hostage release mode.

Now players are also offered short 5v5 competitive matches, where the battle lasts up to 9 wins. A match like this will take about 25 minutes.
