The Corsair 4000D and 5000D computer cases, released in 2020, have so far been offered in three versions: with bare or mesh metal plates and with glass. Today, the manufacturer announced cosmetic upgrades for these cases in the form of interchangeable perforated wood top and front panels that can be purchased separately.
The company’s interchangeable top and front panels for the 4000D and 5000D cases are crafted from bamboo, teak, and sapele.
The Corsair 4000D measures 453 x 230 x 466 mm and weighs 7.8 kg. The case supports the installation of coolant radiators and graphics cards up to a length of 360 mm. The Corsair 5000D measures 520 x 520 x 245 mm and weighs 13.84 kg. Here you can install a graphics card up to 400 mm long and coolant radiators up to 360 mm.
Corsair has already started taking pre-orders for wood panels for the 4000D and 5000D cases on its official website. Their deliveries are scheduled to start within the next 4-5 weeks.
