Corsair MP600 Elite drives use the new energy-efficient Phison E27T storage controller and Kioxia 162-layer 3D TLC BiCS6 memory chips. The new product does not have its own DRAM memory buffer, but is equipped with Host Memory Buffer (HMB) technology, which uses up to 64 MB of system DRAM memory for these purposes. The 2TB SSD model comes with 48GB of SLC cache memory.

Corsair MP600 Elite drives offer sequential read speeds of up to 7,000 MB/s and sequential write speeds of up to 6,500 MB/s. Their random read and write performance reaches 1 million and 1.2 million IOPS, respectively. The manufacturer also indicates a resource of up to 1200 TBW (terabytes of overwritten information) for the SSD for a 2 TB model.

Corsair MP600 Elite is compatible with PlayStation 5 game consoles, and the manufacturer also points out that the new products are equipped with a 256-bit AES encryption system.

The manufacturer offers a five-year guarantee on the new SSD. The new items are already on offer. The 1TB SSD version with heatsink costs $95, while the 2TB model costs $175. The same versions without the cooler cost $90 and $165, respectively.
