Corsair has launched the new MP600 PRO XT M.2 series NVMe SSD series. The new items offer support for the PCIe 4.0 interface, high data transfer rates and are presented in models with a volume of 1, 2 and 4 TB.
Corsair does not indicate which controller is used in the new series of SSDs, but reports that the new items are equipped with 3D NAND TLC memory chips.
For all models in the MP600 PRO XT series, the manufacturer claims a sequential read speed of 7100 MB / s. However, the sequential write speed differs between the models. For the younger version of MP600 PRO XT with a volume of 1 TB, it is 5800 MB / s, for models with a volume of 2 and 4 TB – 6800 MB / s. At the same time, the IOPS (input / output operations per second) in the younger model for random reading is 1.2 million, and for random writing it reaches 900 thousand. For older models, it is 1.2 and 1.0 million IOPS, respectively.
All drives are equipped with massive heat sinks that evenly remove heat from hot components. The company offers a five-year warranty for all new items.
The Corsair MP600 PRO XT Gen4 PCIe x4 NVMe M.2 SSD is now available for purchase from the manufacturer’s website and from select distributors and retailers. The company has estimated models with a volume of 1, 2 and 4 TB at 200, 400 and 990 dollars, respectively.
It should be added that the manufacturer also released special versions of MP600 PRO XT Hydro X Edition drives in 2 and 4 TB volumes, equipped with a water block for a liquid cooling system. Their company has estimated at 425 and 1000 dollars, respectively.
