Cooler Master introduced the V1100 and V1300 Platinum power supplies with 1100W and 1300W respectively. Both models will be released in the SFX form factor and are suitable for compact designs with powerful components.
Both power supplies are 80 Plus Platinum certified, indicating 92% efficiency. The main feature of the new products is support for the new energy standard PCIe 5.0 with a 12-pin connector for powering graphics cards.
In the case of power supplies, this connector is simply labeled PCIe 5.0 – there is a matching 12+4-pin 40 cm cable for this. The manufacturer does not state the maximum power for the PCIe 5.0 connector, but according to the specification it should be able to transmit up to 600 watts of power .
There is currently no information on the costs and start of sales for the Cooler Master V1100 and V1300 SFX Platinum power supplies. All we know is that the manufacturer gives them a 10-year guarantee.
