Microsoft has already announced that online shooter CrossfireX’s story campaign will be included in Xbox Game Pass. It was recently clarified that only one story operation will be available in the service catalogue. But in reality, users are faced with the fact that after the release, the game, in principle, is not included in the Xbox Game Pass. The Xbox team is already investigating this issue.
Shooter CrossfireX was released on Xbox One, Xbox Series X and Series S yesterday, February 10th. It is divided into two components: a free-to-play multiplayer mode from Smilegate and a story-driven single-player campaign from Remedy Entertainment (developed by Alan Wake and Control).
The story campaign was also split into two parts: Operation Catalyst and Operation Spectre. The former is announced as free for Xbox Game Pass subscribers, while the latter is available as a paid add-on. However, for some reason, users of the service could not play Operation Catalyst on the second day.
Xbox support team told on Twitter that she is aware of the problem: “We are aware that users with an Xbox Game Pass subscription may not receive CrossfireX campaign content and are working to resolve this issue. Please follow the news here or on our site Xbox states».
The Xbox status page shows that there is a problem with CrossfireX and you can also see the progress of the solution. At 10:40 am PDT on Feb. 11, the Xbox team said they were close to making a decision.
