The Tartarus Key users will play the role of the girl Alex Young, who one day wakes up along with other victims of kidnapping in a strange mansion full of puzzles, traps and surveillance cameras.

Players must help Alex and other prisoners escape (or abandon them) and discover the truth behind their kidnapping. This will not be easy. In addition, the heroine now and then sees some kind of devilry.

Inspired by classic horror games from the PS1 era and beyond (specific examples not given), The Tartarus Key places more emphasis on story and mystery than combat and chases. The game needs to think, not fight.

Promise a story with “Unexpected Twists and Deadly Surprises”a heap “disturbing and strange” Scenes, puzzle style “room escape” and three different endings.

Tartarus Key will be released on May 31st for PC (steam), PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S and Nintendo Switch. A demo showing the first act is available on the Steam page. The game only supports English.

“It’s been a long road and we’re thrilled to finally be able to share our game with you… We hope you enjoy it more than Alex.”say the developers. Only three people work on The Tartarus Key.
