Colorful launches GeForce RTX 40 series graphics cards in Chinese New Year holiday packages

Colorful released the GeForce RTX 40 series graphics cards in branded Advanced, Ultra and Vulcan versions in special bundles. On the occasion of the approaching Chinese (Lunar) New Year, the manufacturer delivers these accelerators in boxes with a unique design and additionally completes them with themed mouse pads. The Chinese New Year will come on January 22 this time.

Each coming year in the Eastern calendar has its own animal – there are twelve, like the signs of the zodiac. New Year 2023 in China will be the year of the Black Water Rabbit, so Colorful offers GeForce RTX 40 series graphics cards in unique boxes with themed painting and images of rabbits, but for some reason they are white.

The graphics cards themselves have not undergone any external changes. These are the same already presented well-known Advanced, Ultra and Vulcan models.

In the boxes themselves, in addition to graphics cards, buyers will find a red mouse pad, also on a holiday theme. Oddly enough, the cost of such unique kits is the same as versions of accelerators that come in regular original packaging from the same manufacturer.

Unique kits have already appeared on various Chinese online trading platforms. The cheapest kit is priced at 6,799 yuan (about $1,000), and the most expensive, which includes the iGame GeForec RTX 4090 Vulcan graphics card, is priced at 17,999 yuan (about $2,640).
