The feature is under development, Sony announced in June. The challenges ahead at the time were to include projects from the PS Plus game catalog libraries and trials, as well as supported user-owned games.
How report the first to test the “Beta”, God of War Ragnarok, Horizon Forbidden West, Fortnite, Fall Guys, Destiny 2, Returnal, Demon’s Souls, Death Stranding, Sackboy: A Big Adventure and Destruction AllStars are available for streaming testing .

When it comes to streaming, there are resolutions of 720p, 1080p, 1440p and 2160p (4K) to choose from – Sony has not yet said that the PS5 can stream in 4K. When you start the game, it automatically takes over the saved games that have been uploaded to the cloud.
It’s worth noting that streaming via PlayStation Now (merged with PS Plus in 2022) is capped at 1080p by Sony itself. Doesn’t support 4K and is a competitor to Microsoft’s Xbox Cloud Gaming service (also still under review).

This feature allows users to stream some of their games (the list is growing) from the cloud to the PS5 without having to download them to the console. At launch, the service will be included with a PS Plus Premium subscription.
Sony also has a Project Q handheld console in the works that will be able to stream games from the PS5 to the accessory over the internet using the PS Remote Play feature. Whether the device supports cloud streaming is unclear.
