Chief Information Security Officer Leaves Twitter, Head of Sales Returns

Lea Kissner, Twitter’s director of information security, has joined the ranks of senior executives who have left the company. However, the head of sales Robin Wheeler (Robin Wheeler) decided to win back her earlier decision to leave Twitter. Regulators are increasingly worried about the future of the social network.

The day before Mrs. Kissner reportedthat she decided to leave Twitter, without however giving the reasons for this decision. She also stated that she is proud of her now-former colleagues and the work they have done. To date, with the arrival of Elon Musk at the helm of the company, the biggest reductions have been in the engineering department, product development, content creation, and machine learning ethics and human rights specialists.

Staff instability during the transition threatens Twitter with many difficulties, including problems from regulators. In response to a publication request Dark Reading A spokeswoman for the U.S. Federal Trade Commission (FTC) said the agency is monitoring the company’s developments with “deep concern” but will not allow any failure to comply with the law or failure to comply with the authorities’ legitimate requirements. The platform is now under intense scrutiny by the FTC, with Twitter being fined $150 million in May for misusing the personal information of users whose phone numbers and email addresses were used for targeted advertising.

But Twitter General Sales Manager Robin Wheeler initially decided to leave the company with her colleagues, but then Elon Musk convinced her to stay, she writes Bloomberg. Since Musk’s arrival, Ms. Wheeler has been Twitter’s primary contact with major advertisers.
