CD Projekt RED has commented on the rumors surrounding the addition of the subway in Cyberpunk 2077

Marcin Momot, CD Projekt RED Community Manager commented Recent rumors of the return of the subway system cut short ahead of its release in Cyberpunk 2077.

Recall that the subway for Cyberpunk 2077 was really planned and even flashed in pre-release materials, but instead of a tunnel maze in the game, they decided to use a simplified fast travel system.

In February 2022 Momotu is already had to refute the addition of the subway to Cyberpunk 2077 – then players misinterpreted the stub on the project’s official website – but now fans have a more reliable source at first glance.

Recently, player Reddit noted that at the Czech conference in December 2022 CDPR Senior Interface Artist Vladimir Vilimovsky (Vladimír Vilimovsky) miss about the return of the subway with one of the future patches.

Momotu and here had to act as messengers with bad news. Contrary to Vilimovsky’s statement, the CD Projekt RED developers will still not implement the subway system in Cyberpunk 2077.

In the absence of CD Projekt RED’s initiative, enthusiasts set to work and even succeeded. Debuted in December 2021 mod subway system adds a full-fledged subway system with 19 stations to Cyberpunk 2077.
