Developer of the Polish studio CD Projekt RED clarified Players expressed concern over the large-scale patch 2.0 for the action role-playing game Cyberpunk 2077 and offered advice ahead of the upcoming release of the highly anticipated update.
Despite the plethora of changes that the upcoming patch brings to Cyberpunk 2077, saves made in previous 2.0 versions of the game now work smoothly in the new version.
At the same time, CD Projekt RED recommends starting a new game with the release of patch 2.0: “Due to the multitude of changes, a fresh start will improve the gaming experience”.
Patch 2.0 includes street combat, reworked skills, skill trees and a cyber implant system, smarter enemy AI, improvements to police, UI, loot gathering and crafting, and new radio stations.
Update 2.0 will be released on September 21st for Cyberpunk 2077 on PC (Steam, GOG, EGS), PS5, Xbox Series X and S. A few days later, on the 26th, the Phantom Liberty add-on will premiere on the same platforms.
