Recall that transferring saves from PC to Nintendo Switch and back is supported by several notable games like Hades, Divinity: Original Sin 2, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and so on.

As it became known, Monster Hunter Rise will not replenish the list of projects with support for cross-platform save and multiplayer: Capcom was unable to implement these functions.

“We’ve heard your requests to add cross-platform save / game to MHRise and Sunbreak, but unfortunately after reviewing the development process, we realized that we are not able to introduce these features at this time.”, – explained at Capcom.

Monster Hunter Rise debuted on March 26, 2021 on Nintendo Switch, and will arrive on PC (Steam) on January 12, 2022. The massive Sunbreak expansion pack will be released on both target platforms this summer.
