Published and developed by Capcom in the official microblog Monster Hunter commented on the situation surrounding the possible introduction of cross-platform features in Monster Hunter Rise.
Recall that transferring saves from PC to Nintendo Switch and back is supported by several notable games like Hades, Divinity: Original Sin 2, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and so on.
As it became known, Monster Hunter Rise will not replenish the list of projects with support for cross-platform save and multiplayer: Capcom was unable to implement these functions.
We’ve heard your requests for Cross-Save / Cross-Play for #MHRise & #Sunbreak, but unfortunately, after looking into it throughout the development process, we found we are unable to implement it this time. As always, we appreciate your continued feedback and support.
