As promised, as part of their Capcom Showcase gaming presentation, Japanese publisher and developer Capcom arranged a new demonstration of the remake of the cult action game Resident Evil 4.

As part of the show, project manager Yasuhiro Ampo and producer Yoshiaki Hirabayashi, among others, discussed the approach of reinterpreting Capcom’s gaming classics.
As noted in a press release following the presentation, the Resident Evil 4 Remake development team is committed “Increase feelings of loneliness and fear of enemies blinded by fanaticism”.
In addition, Capcom showed about 30 seconds of atmospheric gameplay of Resident Evil 4 remake where Leon walked through the forest at night (the video is attached above), and after the presentation they released several more new screenshots (see gallery below). .
Resident Evil 4 Remake will be released on March 24th, 2023 on PC, PS5, Xbox Series X and S. It promises the spirit of the original, a darker and more disturbing story, updated gameplay, graphics on RE Engine, and content for PlayStation VR2.
