The fact that the Separate Ways campaign, which has been part of all re-releases of Resident Evil 4 (except Resident Evil 4 VR), starting with the PS2 version, will be turned into a DLC for the remake, an insider has already revealed to AestheticGamer before its publication.
Separate Ways tells the adventures of the spy Ada Wong in parallel with the main plot of Resident Evil 4. In the remake version, the heroine will have a grappling hook, which will be useful both when moving around the world and in battle.
Separate Ways will go on sale on September 21st for all platforms targeted by the Resident Evil 4 remake. Cost of the add-on will be $10 (base game is $60).
On the same day as the paid add-on, the Resident Evil 4 remake is receiving a free update for Mercenaries mode. The patch adds two characters: Ada Wong and her employer Albert Wesker.
The Resident Evil 4 remake’s VR mode will be available next winter for owners of the PS5 version of the game (and for free). The new video showed several intense scenes.
The Resident Evil 4 remake was released on March 24th on PC (Steam), PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X and S and will be released on iPhone 15 Pro, iPad and Mac by the end of 2023. Sales of the game exceeded 5 million copies in July.
