The reason for Embracer’s large-scale restructuring was a $2 billion deal that fell through at the last moment. According to rumors, an agreement could not be reached with the e-sports company Savvy Games Group.
The restructuring, which began in June, aims to reduce costs and increase efficiency. The initiative has already led to the closure of Campfire Cabal and Volition Layoffs at Gearbox Publishing.
