The full characteristics of the panel are unknown: the manufacturer did not even name the screen resolution. It was only noted that the screen has a 16:10 aspect ratio and was used on a specific laptop that featured an NVIDIA GeForce RTX graphics subsystem.

To date, none of the laptop manufacturers have equipped screens with a refresh rate of 500 Hz or higher in their model range. Dell has come as close as possible to this formal barrier with its Alienware x17 R2 gaming laptop models. Some of them come with 17-inch screens with 1080p resolution and 480Hz refresh rate.

Mini LED backlight products were among other new products introduced by BOE at the 2022 World Display Industry Conference. For example, the manufacturer showed a 34-inch ultra-wide screen with WQHD resolution, 165 Hz refresh rate, 1 ms response time, high contrast ratio of 100,000:1 and HDR1000 certification. In addition, an 86-inch 4K display with a high brightness of 1500 cd/m² was shown.2.

Nothing is known about the release date of the new BOE products, as the exhibition showcased concepts that may not go into mass production any time soon.
