Capcom journalists got around 17 minutes of gameplay from the remake of Resident Evil 4, but we couldn’t find a video of this length on YouTube. The latest demo is featured in blogger Rubhen925’s (almost) 13 minute video.
Specifically, Capcom showed the cave section in the village (with a boat ride), the first encounter with the Las Plagas parasite, buying from a merchant, walking around the castle with Ashley (and a cannon), an intro video with Salazar, fights with Garrador and Krauser.
In the new demo, it turned out that the parry mechanic allows you to reflect not only normal enemy attacks and blades, but also thrown torches, arrows and even Las Plagas tentacles.
How exactly the new frames of the remake look against the background of the original game was shown by blogger ElAnalistaDeBits in his video. Judging by his video, Ashley will not have a health scale, but in case of an injury, the girl will have to get back on her feet.
According to the plot of Resident Evil 4 and its remake, former Raccoon City police officer Leon Kennedy heads to the Spanish outback to find Ashley, the kidnapped daughter of the President of the United States.
Resident Evil 4 Remake is expected to be released on March 24th on PC (Steam), PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X and S. Capcom will air on March 10th Capcom Spotlightwhere he will share, among other things, the latest news about the project.
