When the Diablo IV team announced on the 1.1.0 rationale stream that they would be adding another stash tab with the 1.1.1 update, fans were speechless: just one? As it turned out, the creators did not introduce such restrictions for the sake of damage.
In response to a fan’s question as to what’s stopping the team from adding a conditionally infinite supply to Diablo IV, Joe Piepiora, deputy director of development, responded explainedwhich is due to technical limitations.
According to Pipora, when a player meets another user in the world of Diablo IV, they not only load themselves with gear, but also with an entire cache filled to the brim with items.
“If we say so [тайники] are expensive, we think they need a lot of extra memory… In fact, it’s not because of lack of space, but because of performance.Pipora explained.
In other words, when you come across a player in Diablo IV who has their many storage bins filled with thousands upon thousands of items, your poor computer has to take on the task of downloading all the loot.
The good news is that the Diablo IV development teams are working hard, according to Pipora “so that we can get more as soon as possible” cache tab. The next expansion is planned for patch 1.1.1.
Diablo IV is available on PC (Battle.net), PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S. As of July 20th, Season of the Plague will be in the game. Update 1.1.1 is expected in a few weeks – the developers will announce the details on July 28th at the weekly broadcast.
