Blackview BV8900 rugged smartphone with advanced thermal imaging camera available at 35% discount

Pursue Blackview presented the flagship among secure smartphones Blackview BV8900 with an advanced thermal imaging camera, UWB support and a powerful 10,380 mAh battery. The novelty runs on DokeOS 3.1 based on Android 13.

One of the features of the Blackview BV9800 is the advanced FLIR thermal imaging camera, which allows you to determine the location of the heat source and get a picture of it with a 4x magnification and a resolution of 80 × 60 pixels.

The smartphone is equipped with a 6.5-inch IPS display with a resolution of 2400 × 1080 pixels and a brightness of 440 cd/m²2 and support for operation with gloves. TÜV SÜD Low Blue Light certification confirms eye safety by reducing screen flicker and reduced blue light emissions. The display is protected from scratches and damage by durable Corning Gorilla Glass.

The device is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P90 processor and 8 GB of RAM, which can be virtualized up to 16 GB. The flash drive capacity is 256 GB. Storage can be expanded up to 1TB with a microSD card slot.

As a power source, the smartphone uses a 10,380 mAh solid-state battery, which is safer to use and more resistant to extreme temperatures ranging from -30 °C to 60 °C due to the absence of flammable components. In standby mode, the battery charge lasts for 45.5 days of operation. With support for 33W fast charging, charging takes only 2.5 hours. There is also a quick reverse charge feature.

Another feature of the smartphone is support for Ultra Wideband Wireless (UWB) technology, which allows for more accurate estimation of the direction and distance to an object with an attached tag compared to Bluetooth.

On the back of the smartphone there is a 64-megapixel camera with a Samsung ISOCELL GW3 sensor and support for ArcSoft 4.0 shooting algorithms, a 5-megapixel sensor and a thermal imager that provides colorful, high-quality images. A 16-megapixel front camera with support for phase-detection autofocus is used for taking selfies.

With IP68, IP69, and MIL-STD-810H water, dust, shock, and drop resistance ratings, the Blackview BV9800 can operate in the harshest of environments without fear of sudden failure. In addition, the specifications of the smartphone include support for NFC technology, GPS navigation systems, Glonass, Beidou, Galileo and two slots for SIM cards.

In honor of the launch of global sales, the company is offering a discount Blackview BV8900 in the amount of 35%. From June 12-18, the smartphone will be available for $259.99 with a retail price of $399.99.
