Filming on “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” has been put on hold once again. According to The Hollywood Reporter, part of the crew and cast, including actress Lupita Nyong’o, have tested positive for Covid-19.
Production had just resumed after two months of stoppage due to an injury suffered by actress Letitia Wright. Work is expected to resume within a week.
The contagion in the Marvel film reflects a high number of positive cases of covid-19 on the sets of Hollywood productions in 2022, with the advancement of the omicron variant, which has resulted in successive suspensions of productions. Thanks to the vaccination requirement by most studios, the cases have not been serious.
