Bitcoin price continues to fall. In the last 24 hours, the price of the world’s most popular cryptocurrency has fallen below $20,000, most recently in mid-December 2020.

Bitcoin has lost more than 7% in price over the past day, according to the largest cryptocurrency exchange Binance. At the time of writing, one bitcoin was worth about $19,125. The CoinMarketCap platform, which allows you to calculate the average cost for more than 20 exchanges, reported that the price of bitcoin has increased by 6.5% in the last 24 hours down to $19,554 per unit. Data from the CoinDesk platform suggests an 8.91% drop in the Bitcoin exchange rate to $19,227.

The ongoing devaluation of the world’s most popular cryptocurrency is negatively impacting many other digital currencies. The price of Ethereum, the second most popular cryptocurrency in the world, fell 8.86% to $999.29 per unit, Binance Coin lost 8.78% ($200.05), XPR price fell 9.02% ( $0.30). The exchange rate of meme cryptocurrency Dogecoin is down 8.32% to $0.052 per coin over the past day.
