Biostar TZ590-BTC Duo board targets mining systems

Biostar has expanded the range of motherboards with the release of the TZ590-BTC Duo model for building stations intended for mining cryptocurrencies.

The novelty is built on the Intel Z590 chipset and is equipped with an LGA 1200 socket for the tenth and eleventh generation Intel Core processors. There are four slots for DDR4-3600 (OC) / 3200/2933/2800/2666/2400/2133 RAM modules with a total capacity of up to 128 GB.

The solution has an ATX format with dimensions of 305 × 244 mm. There are eight PCIe 3.0 x1 slots and a PCIe 4.0 x16 slot for expansion cards. The drives can be connected to four M.2 connectors and ten SATA 3.0 ports.

The equipment includes an Intel I219V gigabit network controller and a 7.1 ALC887 audio codec. The interface unit contains four USB 3.2 (Gen1) ports and two USB 2.0 ports, D-Sub and HDMI connectors for image output, a PS / 2 socket for a keyboard or mouse, a connector for a network cable and a set of audio jacks. Unfortunately, there is no information about the approximate price of the new item at the moment.
