Biostar has announced the B660MX-E Pro motherboard, suitable for building compact desktops and home media centers.

The novelty has a micro-ATX format. The Intel B660 system logic set was used: 12th generation core processors in the LGA 1700 version (Alder Lake family) are supported. Four slots are available for DDR4-4600 RAM modules: Up to 128 GB of RAM can be used in the system.
The equipment includes four SATA 3.0 ports, an M.2 slot for a PCIe solid state module, an Intel I219V gigabit network controller and a 7.1 audio codec. A graphics accelerator with PCIe 4.0 x16 interface can be installed. In addition, there is another PCIe x16 slot and a PCIe x1 slot.
The interface box combines a PS/2 mouse/keyboard jack, HDMI, D-Sub and DVI ports for connecting monitors, two USB 2.0 ports and four USB 3.2 ports (Gen1), a network cable jack and audio jacks . There are also connections for a Wi-Fi antenna.
The launch dates and estimated price of the Biostar B660MX-E Pro motherboard have not yet been announced.
