Publishers Take-Two Interactive and 2K, and streaming giant Netflix announced on entering into a partnership to produce a feature film based on the BioShock shooter series.

How the portal transmits The Hollywood Reporterthe presented deal has been in the works for almost a year, but to date, the project has yet to attract a screenwriter or director.
The details of the adaptation have also not yet been announced, but judging by the announcement tweet, we’re talking specifically about the first part – this theory is confirmed by concept art and the famous quote (would you kindly) from the game.
Netflix, 2K and Take-Two Interactive are collaborating to produce a film adaptation of the acclaimed video game franchise BioShock.

Attempts have already been made to film the BioShock series – at the turn of the 2000s and 2010s, Pirates of the Caribbean director Gore Verbinski was supposed to direct the film, but it didn’t work out.
Meanwhile, Studio Cloud Chamber, founded in late 2019, is working on a new game part of BioShock. There is no official release date, target platforms or even a name for the project.
