The only survivor of the fog is the protagonist of Ghostwire: Tokyo, a young man named Akito who is partially possessed by a strange spirit. He will help the protagonist to learn unearthly abilities.

Among Akito’s supernatural techniques will include the so-called etheric weaving, which allows “Combine spiritual energy with the forces of fire, water and wind into powerful elemental attacks”

Among the hostile creatures in Ghostwire: Tokyo, there will be agile spirits in the guise of headless schoolchildren, teru-teru-bodzu amulets hovering in the air like puppets, and faceless rain ghosts in mourning clothes.

Ghostwire: Tokyo will go on sale in the spring of 2022 for PC and PlayStation 5. The project is a temporary console exclusive from Sony: in other words, some time after the initial release, the game will appear on other platforms.
