Be quiet! showed new cases and power supplies at the Computex

The German brand for computer components be quiet! presented many new products at Computex 2023. The manufacturer has expanded its range of computer cases and power supplies with new models.

The company has announced an all-new series of Shadow Base computer cases. The line will be filled with models designed to ensure maximum ventilation of PC components.

The first model of the new series was the Shadow Base 800 case, which will be available in three versions – Standard, DX and FX. The standard variant is a normal-sized case without RGB lighting. The DX model is equipped with an RGB strip. The FX model, on the other hand, is richly decorated with RGB lighting throughout the room.

The Shadow Base 800 supports mainboards up to E-ATX and offers three or four 140mm fans depending on the version.

The company also introduced the new flagship Dark Base 901 case. It is equipped with tempered glass side panels as well as a perforated front panel and side perforated metal inserts. A new riser adapter for vertical installation of the graphics card is included in the scope of delivery.

The novelty also features detachable noise-absorbing panels and pre-installed 140mm Silent Wings fans. The case features an integrated ARGB backlight controller and wireless charging for a smartphone. The Dark Base 701 is the younger brother of the 901.

In the new Dark Base models, the manufacturer has improved the power cable routing system. New items support coolant coolers up to 360mm in size and come with multiple Silent Wings 140 fans pre-installed.

be quiet! also brought a new series of power supplies Straight Power 12 to the fair. All models in this series comply with the ATX 3.0 standard and are 80 Plus Platinum certified. Their efficiency under load is over 94%.

The novelties are equipped with a single 12V line, offer up to two 12VHPWR connectors with the ability to transfer 600W of power to the graphics card each, and are also equipped with four PCIe connectors in the 6+2 scheme.

The Straight Power 12 PSUs are cooled by 135mm Silent Wings fans and come in 750W, 850W, 1000W, 1200W, and 1500W versions. All power supplies in this series come with a 10-year manufacturer’s guarantee.
