The new Dark Base 701 also shares with its predecessor the ability to change the position of the mainboard tray. It can be installed on the opposite plate with alternating airflow.

Removable shelves are provided on the top and front of the case to allow convenient installation of radiators for liquid cooling systems up to 360 mm in size.

No tools are required to install SSD and HDD. In total, the installation of up to five 3.5-inch HDDs and up to three 2.5-inch SSDs is supported.

The case allows the installation of processor coolers with a height of up to 185 mm, graphics cards with a length of up to 415 mm and power supplies with a length of up to 260 mm. The new product also supports vertical installation of graphics cards, although for this you need to purchase a special stand with a riser adapter.

On the front of the Dark Base 701 there is a USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-C port, two USB 3.2 Type-A as well as two 3.5mm audio outputs for headphones and a microphone.
