According to Kamiya, the original Bayonetta and Bayonetta 2 stories were designed to be enjoyed in any order, and Bayonetta 3 is no exception.
At the same time, the designer said that those who are familiar with the first two parts will get more pleasure from Bayonetta 3: “I’m sure if you play Bayonetta and Bayonetta 2 you’ll be even more interesting.”.
In this regard, Kamiya expressed the hope that users “get ready” to the triquel after passing the first two parts. Without knowing the full picture of what is happening, players lose part of the experience.
Bayonetta 3 is being developed exclusively for Nintendo Switch and is slated for release later this year. As part of the September edition of online broadcast Nintendo Direct, the slasher was honored with the first gameplay trailer.
