Thomas Happ, Founder and Head of independent studio Thomas Happ Games announced the exact release date of their Pixel Metroidvania Axiom Verge 2 on the Steam digital distribution service.

Recall that on the eve of launch, the PC version of Axiom Verge 2 turned out to be a temporary exclusive to the Epic Games Store. Hupp does not regret his decision and thanks the community for the warm welcome.
It has been announced that the Steam version of Axiom Verge 2 will go on sale on August 11th – exactly one year after its premiere on the Epic Games Store. Whether the release will be accompanied by a discount at launch is not specified.

Axiom Verge 2 debuted on PC (Epic Games Store), PS4 and Nintendo Switch in August 2021. The press hit the second part cooler than the first – the sequel rating metacritical is between 75 and 78%.
