ASUS updates ExpertBook B5 business laptops with increased durability with Intel Alder Lake processors

ASUS has announced updated ExpertBook B5 and ExpertBook B5 Flip laptops, which are equipped with a 13.3-inch diagonal display. New items are created on the Intel Alder Lake hardware platform.

The maximum configuration includes a 12th generation Core i7 processor with integrated Intel Iris Xe graphics. The amount of RAM reaches 40 GB. Two solid state drives with a total capacity of up to 2 TB can be installed, which can be configured in a RAID 0/1 array.

The screen resolution is not specified, but most likely a full HD matrix (1920 × 1080 pixels) will be used. The ExpertBook B5 Flip model has a 360-degree lid that allows you to turn the device into a tablet. Supports control with a special pen.

Notebooks may be equipped with a wireless Wi-Fi 6E adapter. There is a fingerprint scanner. The devices are housed in a 16.9 mm thick case and weigh from 1.1 kg.

Claimed battery life on a single charge up to 11 hours. Optionally, the NumberPad 2.0 panel can be installed – a digital keypad that is integrated into the touchpad. The devices are robust (MIL-STD 810H standard).
