ASUS unveiled an updated series of ASUS ZenBook laptops at CES 2023. All new models are equipped with OLED displays and the latest Intel and NVIDIA chips.

Positioned by the company as the most powerful laptop in the Zenbook series to date, the flagship of the Zenbook Pro 16X series is equipped with an Intel Core i9 13905H processor, combined with a proprietary System-on-Module ASUS Supernova System-on-Module (SoM). Using the Supernova SoM allows to reduce the area of the motherboard by 38%. Using ASUS Supernova SoM helps improve video editing and 3D rendering performance.
Also reported is the use of a liquid metal thermal interface and a curved evaporation chamber in the laptop cooling system. All these improvements have made it possible to ensure stable operation of the device with a total TDP of 155 watts.
The laptop comes with a 3.2K (3200 × 2000 dots) OLED touchscreen with an aspect ratio of 16:10, a refresh rate of 120 Hz and HDR support.
Device specs also include up to 32GB of LPDDR5X RAM, up to 2TB of PCIe Gen 4 x4 flash storage, up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 graphics, dual Thunderbolt 4 ports, an SD card slot, an HDMI 2.1 Connection and 96Wh, support for Pen 2.0 input and MUX switch technology.
The updated Zenbook Pro 14 OLED laptop, in turn, is based on a 13th generation Intel chip, up to a Core i9 13900H paired with a GeForce RTX 40 series graphics card, up to a GeForce RTX 4070. An efficient cooling system ensures a stable Operating the system with a total TDP of 105 W. The size of the DDR5 RAM is 16 GB (can be increased up to 32 GB), the capacity of the M.2 NVMe PCIe 4.0 flash drive is up to 2 TB.
The laptop is equipped with a 14.5-inch 2.8K (2880 × 1800 pixels) OLED screen with a refresh rate of 120 Hz that covers 100% of the DCI-P3 color space. The display supports Dolby Vision technology and is Pantone validated.
Device specifications include WiFi 6E, SD card slot, HDMI 2.1 port, USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A, Thunderbolt 4 and USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C ports, and headphone audio jack. The battery capacity is 76 Wh.
