Network sources have released new information about the powerful gaming smartphones of the ROG Phone 6 series, which ASUS will announce shortly.
Earlier it was reported that the official presentation of these devices will take place on July 5th. The family will reportedly include three versions – the base modification, as well as the ROG Phone 6 Pro and ROG Phone 6 Ultimate models.
It is reported that the Chinese Certification Authority 3C (China Compulsory Certificate) has information on ROG Phone 6 devices with code designations AI2201_A and AI2201_B. They come with a 65W charger. By the way, the current devices of the ROG Phone 5 series support fast charging with the same performance.
It is known that the new gaming smartphones will get a Samsung-made AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 165 Hz and an improved cooling system.
The “heart” will be the flagship Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor developed by Qualcomm. The chip contains a Kryo Prime core clocked up to 3.2 GHz, three Kryo Performance cores clocked up to 2.8 GHz and four Kryo Efficiency cores clocked up to 2.0 GHz. The product includes a powerful Adreno graphics accelerator and a Snapdragon X65 5G modem.
