ASUS has released new motherboards Prime H510M-K R2.0-CSM, Prime H510M-F R2.0-CSM and Prime H510M-K R2.0-CSM, which despite the name are based on the H470 chipset, not the H510 . Although the H510 chipset is newer, the H470 offers support for a variety of features that justify its use in new motherboards.

It is nothing new for motherboard manufacturers to convert old chipsets into new products or, conversely, to use old motherboards with new chipsets. This practice can be due to various reasons, one of which is the presence of a surplus of certain manufacturer’s microcircuits that must be used in products for the consumer market.
The H510 chipset is newer, but the older H470 looks quite competitive. The H470 supports two memory modules per channel, more USB and SATA ports, also allows the creation of RAID arrays and has more PCIe lanes. It seems that the specifications of the new motherboards are not much different from the Prime H510M-E R2.0-CSM. It is not yet known when the Prime H510M-K R2.0-CSM, Prime H510M-F R2.0-CSM and Prime H510M-K R2.0-CSM mainboards will be available.
