ASUS launches new ExpertBook B3 detachable convertible tablet with Snapdragon 7c Gen 2 chip

ASUS has started selling a new convertible tablet ExpertBook B3 Detachable, the first information about which appeared last summer. The device is based on the Qualcomm hardware platform and Windows 11 is used as the operating system.

The gadget (model B3000) is housed in a rugged case conforming to the MIL-STD-810H standard. The tablet is not afraid of bumps, falls, vibrations, etc. The 10.5-inch diagonal display has WUXGA resolution (1920 × 1200 pixels) and 121 percent coverage of the sRGB color space. You can interact with the screen using a special stylus, for which there is a compartment in the case for storage.

The ExpertBook B3 Detachable Tablet is powered by a Snapdragon 7c Gen 2 processor that packs eight Kryo 468 cores running at up to 2.55GHz. The integrated accelerator Adreno 618 is engaged in graphics processing, the size of the LPDDR4X RAM reaches 8 GB, the capacity of the eMMC flash module is 128 GB.

The equipment includes cameras with 5 and 13 megapixel sensors, WLAN 5 (802.11ac) and Bluetooth 5.1 wireless adapters, a USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C port and a 3.5 -mm audio jack. With the detachable keyboard, you can turn the tablet into a small laptop. Claimed battery life on a single charge is 21 hours.

The ExpertBook B3 Detachable is available for an estimated price of $600.
