ASUS launches new Chromebook CX1 laptop with 14" Full HD display

ASUS has announced a new Chromebook CX1 portable computer running Chrome OS. The device is based on the Intel hardware platform.

The laptop is equipped with a 14-inch Full HD display with a resolution of 1920 × 1080 pixels and a brightness of 250 cd/m²2. Provides 45% NTSC color space coverage. The screen occupies about 77% of the lid’s area, which can be opened 180 degrees.

Installed processor Pentium Silver with four cores. The RAM in the maximum configuration is 16 GB. An eMMC flash module with a capacity of 32 or 64 GB is used as the drive.

The novelty is made in a robust case according to the MIL-STD 810H standard. Claimed battery life on a single charge up to 12 hours. The device weighs approximately 1.47 kg.

The equipment includes a WLAN adapter Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax), a microSD slot, a 720p webcam, USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A and USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C -Connectors, one standard 3.5mm audio jack.

Unfortunately, there is currently no information on the estimated price of the new Chromebook.
