ASUS has added two new models to its Strix G line of gaming laptops: the 15-inch Strix G513 and the 17-inch Strix G713. Both new products feature the latest AMD Ryzen 6000 (Rembrandt) series processors and feature NVIDIA GeForce RTX 30 series GPUs.

Laptops can be equipped with one of three processors: AMD Ryzen 9 6900HX, Ryzen 7 6800H or Ryzen 5 6600H. All three chips have a TDP of 45 W. Laptops can have up to 32 GB DDR5-4800 RAM and a solid state drive with an interface M.2 PCIe 4.0, up to 1 TB and 3500 MB / s. If desired, the user can install a second identical drive, as the laptop has two slots for such media.
Laptops will be able to offer the following graphics cards as graphics subsystems:
- GeForce RTX 3080 Ti with 16 GB memory (TDP 125 + 25 W);
- GeForce RTX 3080 with 8 GB memory (TDP 125 + 25 W);
- GeForce RTX 3070 Ti with 8 GB memory (TDP 125 + 25 W);
- GeForce RTX 3060 with 6 GB memory (TDP 115 + 25 W);
- GeForce RTX 3050 Ti with 4 GB memory (TDP 80 + 15 W);
- GeForce RTX 3050 with 4 GB memory (TDP 80 + 15 W).
The company offers several display options for the Strix G513 and Strix G713 gaming laptops. All are based on IPS matrices with a response speed of up to 3 ms. Variants with resolutions from Full HD to QHD have been announced, with a refresh rate from 144 Hz to 360 Hz, brightness from 250 to 300 cd / m22 and a response of 2.5 to 3 ms. All panels have 100% DCI-P3 and sRGB color space.
The innovations also received a USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-C, USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-C with alternative DisplayPort 1.4 and Power Delivery modes, two USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-A each, as well as an HDMI 2.1, LAN (2.5 Gbit / s ) and a combined 3.5 mm audio jack. The systems are equipped with two speakers and microphones with support for AI noise suppression, glass touchpads measuring 126.9 × 74 mm and also offer support for the Wi-Fi 6E WLAN standard.
Laptops are powered by batteries with a capacity of 90 Wh. One of the USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-C ports in laptops is equipped with a fast charge function with an output of up to 100 W and enables you to charge the laptop battery by up to 50% in just 30 minutes.
Laptops Strix G513 and Strix G713 got RGB-illuminated keyboards. Their key travel is 2.0 mm. In the sale, new items will be available in three colors: Eclipse Gray, Volt Green and Electro Punk. The dimensions of the Strix G513 laptop are 354 × 259 × 226 ~ 272 mm and the weight is up to 2.4 kg. The dimensions of the Strix G713 are 395 × 282 × 234 ~ 283 mm and the weight is up to 2.9 kg.
The company did not provide any information on prices or availability of new products.
