ASUS introduced the next-generation Chromebook Flip CX5 Convertible with a 16-inch touchscreen display at CES 2022.

The laptop (model CX5601) uses the Intel Alder Lake hardware platform: the maximum configuration includes a 12th generation Core i7 processor. The volume of the LPDDR4X RAM is up to 16 GB, the capacity of the PCIe NVMe drive is up to 512 GB.
The screen has a resolution of WUXGA (1920 × 1200 pixels) with an aspect ratio of 16:10 and takes up 87% of the lid area. The latter can be rotated 360 degrees, which allows you to use the device in various modes, including a tablet.
Features include a Harman Kardon audio system with four speakers, a full HD webcam, a Wi-Fi 6E wireless adapter, a microSD card slot and a backlit keyboard with protection against accidental spillage.
The computer is housed in a robust housing (MIL-STD 810H standard). There are two Thunderbolt 4 interfaces, an HDMI 2.0 port, a USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type A port and a 3.5 mm audio jack. The operating system is Chrome OS.
