ASUS introduced the Pro WS TRX50-SAGE WIFI motherboard. The new product features an SP6 processor socket (LGA 4844) and is designed for the recently introduced Ryzen Threadripper 7000 HEDT processors as well as Ryzen Threadripper PRO 7000 models up to the 96-core flagship Ryzen Threadripper PRO 7995WX.
The manufacturer states that the Pro WS TRX50-SAGE WIFI board is equipped with a 36-phase VRM power supply subsystem. A powerful system of radiators and two active fans, which are located on both sides of the processor socket, are responsible for cooling. The new product received five PCIe slots, three of which are PCIe 5.0 x16. It has four slots for installing DDR5 memory and supports up to 1TB of RAM with error correction function (ECC). In addition, the new product received three M.2 slots for NVMe drives.
The Pro WS TRX50-SAGE WIFI also has 10 and 2.5 Gbit/s network ports as well as multiple USB Type-C ports (20 Gbit/s). In addition, the new product supports SlimSAS NVMe technology and is equipped with an IPMI interface designed for autonomous monitoring and control of system functions.
ASUS does not reveal full technical specifications of the Pro WS TRX50-SAGE WIFI. However, with the Ryzen Threadripper 7000 scheduled to launch in November, we can expect these details to be revealed very soon.
